First Huawei nova 9 images appear, the phone is rumored to have 5G

Huawei is set to announce its new Nova 9 series next month, according to a Weibo post earlier today. Hours later one of the phones was reportedly spotted on TENAA’s website with little information available at this time aside from it having a model number RTL-AL00 and likely will not be released alone. Photos uploaded show that the device took design cues from Huawei’s Honor 50 Pro as well as similarities between other devices in their P50 series such as camera bumps with circular designs present around them which are suggestive for more than just an upcoming phone release by Huawei if they’re looking towards expanding their presence in China where those types of circles have been used before including most recently on another smartphone company Oppo who has also designed some very similar smartphones.

The Honor 50 Pro, the company’s first flagship to use a Qualcomm chipset. It features a curved display that is OLED and has two front-facing cameras for selfies as well as four rear-facing camera lenses (which are arranged in an octagon shape).

The Huawei nova 9 series is still in the early stages of acquiring certifications, so we can expect more details to leak out as launch nears. The new series should be unveiled in mid-September and will likely come with 5G capabilities considering that even newer models settled for 4G (while using two 5G capable chipsets).
